Links in Zotero

You might need to make a few changes depending on how you use Zotero. You'll want to turn off the proxy redirect feature, if it's on, since we will no longer use a proxy server. Check out our help video below to see how. The only thing affected by this is how/which links to resources are saved in your library; all of the other citation information and PDF documents function as they did before.

If you are using Zotero to save full-text documents and citation information, you have all the information to find a new link if needed. If there are any items in your Zotero library in which the only metadata is a Fielding proxied link (this is uncommon), reach out to us for help updating the links. Remember to look at the 'checking and updating links' tab of this guide for examples of proxied links.

Watch our explainer video to better understand the changes and links we're referring to so you can determine if you need to take any action.
